If I change the volume on the TV or mute the TV, can I still hear the TV through my hearing aids?

The volume of your Phonak hearing aids is independent to the TV, so you can mute and/or adjust the tv volume and still listen to the TV through your hearing aids.

You can pair an unlimited amount of compatible Phonak hearing aids to one Phonak TV Connector.

How many TV connectors can I pair my hearing aids with?

You can pair your Phonak hearing aids with up to 2 TV Streamers and be actively connected to one at a time.

What happens if I receive a phone call whilst watching the TV?

If you receive a phone call when you are connected via Bluetooth to the TV, your hearing aids will briefly disconnect to allow you to answer the phone call and then reconnect after hanging up.

I don't have any audio inputs in my TV and only one TOSLINK/Optical port already being used by my sound bar - what are my options?

If you have and are already using a single optical input on your TV and have no audio/RCA inputs, you can purchase an ‘optical splitter’ for around £10 from many online retailers.

Instructions

Setup: Insert the larger end of the USB cable into the power supply unit and plug the power supply unit into the socket outlet of the mains power. Insert the smaller end of the USB cable into the free socket of the TV Connector. Using your selected cable (3.5mm Jack [analog] or Optical [Toslink]) insert one end into the TV Connector, and the other into your TV.
Pairing: To connect a new pair of hearing aids, press the connect button on the back, and the light will start blinking blue. Ensure your hearing aids are switched on, and stand within 1 meter of the device.
Confirmation: Once paired successfully, you will receive a confirmation beep in your hearing aids, which may take up to 10 seconds. The LED light on the Phonak TV Connector will turn to solid green, which indicates it is switched on and transmitting audio.
Enjoy: Sit back, relax, and enjoy enhanced audio directly streamed to your Phonak hearing aids. Adjust the volume on your hearing aids as desired, and experience a new level of clarity and comfort while watching your favorite programs.
